I know good reviews are important, but clients and families never seem to leave them, even when they’re happy. How do you get more reviews?
I’ve been there! The key is to ask at the right time. Catch families when they’re happiest—like after you’ve gone above and beyond for them or solved a big problem. Timing is everything.
Exactly. I usually ask after a milestone, like the first 30 days of care or when they tell me how much they appreciate the caregiver. If they’re already saying nice things, it’s the perfect moment to suggest a review.
What if they say they’ll do it but never follow through? That happens to me a lot.
Oh, all the time! People are busy. Follow up with a gentle reminder. I’ll send a quick email or text like, “Thanks again for your kind words about our caregiver. If you have a moment, we’d be so grateful if you could share your experience in a review!” Include a direct link to your Google or Facebook review page so it’s easy for them.
That’s a great idea—I hadn’t thought of that. Thanks for all the tips! Time to start asking more confidently.
